Turntable Discussions: Episode 8

John Ott is our featured guest on the latest episode of our Turntable Discussions platform. John is a very accomplished historian and researcher of 19th-century locomotives and their builders. Recently retired as a medical illustrator, John has created over 100 locomotive lithographs that are available on his website, www.ottgalleries.com.
He has also built and continues to build his HO-scale proto-freelance model railroad, The Miskatonic RR 1882-1907. Google: Miskatonic Railroad. Here you can see his track plan and a plethora of photos of the many scratch-built structures. His locomotives include Mantua, Bachman, Riverossi, and brass. He operates on DC and is planning to convertto DCC in the future.
